Every queen needs her crown and on Saturday, a group of us attended a class taught by the adorable Sherri Baldy held at Whimzy in Tustin. Sherri shared her fabulous talent for creating her gorgeous crowns. Let me share some photos from the day...
When we arrived for class, Sherri had made each one of us one of these cute bags to hold our class kit. The kits were filled to the brim with luscious goodies to use. She also gave us an instructional booklet with all the details of the class, which I LOVE, so that I can remake this project again and again.
Sherri also brought us some of the tastiest cupcakes for class. I had the Dulce la Leche, but she also had breakfast cupcakes with bacon on top. I was told the bacon ones were out of this world!
Oops...I guess I got off track...put cupcakes in front of me and my mind wanders! (hee hee!) Anyway, on to the class project. She had us make a small crown form so that we could learn her technique, but then had large ones already made and spray painted gold, so that we could go home with a finished project. Love that! Anyway, without further adieu, here is my crown.....
Aren't these crowns beautiful? Of course, we had to take a class picture with our crowns and tote bags....
