Don't get me wrong...I adore going to Silver Bella, but its that glittery hangover that just does me in for at least a week after.
Teresa and all the instructors outdid themselves this year. So many "virgin" bellas that were there for the first time...what fun!
Kim Caldwell and I started off by flying to Kansas City to meet up with Jessi Nagy, Karla Nathan, Carol Spinski, Stacy McGinness and Lonnie Jenck for a little retail therapy.Let me share a few pics of our shopping frenzy.

How much luggage did we bring? Luckily, we got it all shoved into Jessi's car, our "ride" for the week.

First stop...Nell Hill's Store. what gorgeous home decor! Doing the "jessi" hee hee!

Then on to Deb's Curious Sofa. What incredible eye candy awaited us, as she had her store all decorated for the holidays!

Just a little "rest" on the sofa, and then it was on to Karla Nathan's home for dinner and crafting.

Karla had a wonderful table set for us to enjoy our meal and chat, while exploring all the bits and baubles in her unforgettable studio!

This was just day one. Next morning, we were up and off to Carol Spinski's newly refurbished farmhouse for brunch. All I can say is wow!

We then all piled in the cars and proceeded to shop our way to Omaha, stopping in St. Jo's at Rusty Chandelier

Here's the screen door that Kim was coveting....we just couldn't figure out how to fit it in Jessi's SUV!

Meet Ginger, I mean Shelly (Carol's niece) trying on a wig and hat at Rusty Chandelier.

A Little nourishment and then it was off to Omaha for Silver Bella.

Stay tuned for more posts about the actual event and another little sidetrip to Iowa. Here's a little sneeky peeky....
