I'm back from a fabulous crafting weekend with a group of 13 wonderful, fun and talented friends. We stayed in an adorable house (can't really call it a cabin) near Moonridge.
Even though the weather was quite hot and humid, we certainly did not let that spoil our weekend of projects, yummy meals, junkin', shopping, laughing and friendship. I have so many pictures to share, but today I want to show you the projects we created in our classes.
The first class was taught by the adorable Holly Stinnett. In fact, the "Smokey the bear" badge in the beginning of this post was attached to our class kit bag. Here is Holly ready to teach her class and my finished banner.
Our class on Saturday was with sweet Christine Rose Elle of Dollybelle's Peepshow. Christine not only had us create a birdcage on a pedestal, but taught us french beading. The beading is still a learning process for me and I have not finished my project, but let me share with you pictures of her kit and Christine's sample project.
Our last class (on Sunday) was led by the lovely Kim Hesson. I actually came home and finished up Kim's project today. Here is a picture of Kim with Jenny Morgan (we are waiting for your new blog, Jenny!) and a few pics of my framed piece.
Well, that's all for today! More blog posts to follow which will include swaps, fun times, scrumptious meals and shopping. I just want to send out hugs to all the girls...I had such a relaxing, memorable weekend and I can't wait until we do it again!
